TCA at the MCA
Teen Creative Agency (TCA), the MCA’s Teen Program, is a group of 25 curious, creative, committed young people from all over the Chicago area. TCA meets every Saturday at the MCA for two years. Together, we work on projects at the museum with museum staff, artists, and other young people.
Our goal is to make the MCA a platform, workshop, laboratory, and performance space for teens. We want to see young people activate the museum, and we need your help to make that happen.
Get involved with TCA
There are three ways to connect with us:
1. Attend our events
TCA produces events for Chicago-area teens throughout the year, including:
- The Living Room
A monthly program featuring intimate, eclectic, contemporary conversations, performances, and activities, led by young artists from around Chicago and hosted by TCA.
Our annual, big blow-out celebration of young creativity at the MCA, created and curated by TCA.
2. Collaborate with us
TCA is looking for other youth collaborators. Want to do more than just attend our programs? Have an interesting project you’d like to work on with TCA? Let us know what you’re thinking!
3. Apply to be a member
Want to be all-in with TCA and join our group of 25? TCA accepts a new batch of members each year. Although we meet during the school year and interview new members over the summer, we accept applications from interested candidates year-round. Learn more and apply
Teen Creative Agency (TCA) members document their Saturdays and reflect on their experiences in TCA at their creative agents blog.
