When does the exhibition take place?

September 23, 2014 through January 4, 2015.

Will you be offering extended hours?

Yes, we will have extended hours during the run of the exhibition.

When do tickets go on sale?

MCA members will be able to book their tickets on July 15, 2014. Tickets go on sale to the public July 31, 2014.

Can members purchase additional tickets to see Bowie?

Yes. Beginning July 15, 2014, members may purchase additional tickets for general admission ($25 for adults and teens; $10 for youth 7–12; free for children 6 and under).

Will there be a Members’ Preview of David Bowie Is?

Yes, there will be a special Members’ Preview of the exhibition on Monday, September 22. To attend this day, members must use tickets allotted with their membership or purchase additional tickets for general admission ($25 for adults and teens; $10 for youth 7–12; free for children 6 and under). Timed entry to the exhibition will occur every half hour between 4 and 8 pm, with the museum closing at 10 pm. Due to high demand, space at the Members’ Preview is limited. Beginning at 10 am on July 15, members may book tickets for the Members’ Preview, through our online ticketing portal or by calling 312.397.4066.
