Foundations and government agencies provide crucial support to the MCA each year through grants for specific program initiatives and general operations. Funding from these organizations enables the museum to develop and present world-class exhibitions, innovative performances, and engaging educational programs to audiences in Chicago, across the nation, and around the world.

Underwriting opportunities are available for many of the museum’s exhibitions and programs—from complimentary artist-led tours for elementary, middle, and high-school students to monthly Family Day programs that seek to develop a lifelong love of contemporary art among our youngest visitors. See our listing of underwriting opportunities for MCA programs and exhibitions.

Our grants office looks forward to working with you to identify programs that meet your organization’s funding priorities. For more information or to request a proposal, contact Gwen Perry Davis, Deputy Director of Development, at 312.799.3509 or
