Lucky Plush Productions, one of Chicago’s most inventive contemporary dance companies, makes its first MCA engagement with the world-premiere of Cinderbox 18, an evening-long exploration of the comedy and anxiety in everyday ritual, spectatorship, and vulnerability. Led by choreographer Julia Rhoads, Lucky Plush is known for incorporating technology and visual design into their performances to create immersive and transformative environments that offer a distinctive interdisciplinary experience.
