Since 1987, AXIS Dance Company has created an exciting body of work developed by dancers with and without disabilities. This San Francisco-based company is revolutionizing the dance form, achieving powerful and inclusive, physically integrated performances. In their Chicago debut, AXIS Dance performs new works commissioned from Victoria Marks and Ann Carlson with music by the pioneering Meredith Monk.
