Utilizing a vast array of handmade electronic instruments and audio processors, Alex Inglizian performs a series of improvisations and compositions. The resulting sounds are intricate, visceral, and chaotic, while skillfully executed among the various amplification systems.
Inglizian is a Chicago-based sound artist, educator, and audio engineer who has collaborated with artists and musicians from around the world. Exhibited internationally, his work incorporates handmade electronics, analog synthesis, and field recordings. Currently, he works with several Chicago-based sound art organizations including the Experimental Sound Studio and Lampo.
