Manager of Campaign Data and Research
The Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago seeks a full-time Manager of Campaign Data and Research. Reporting to the Director of Campaign Data & Research, provide support for the MCA, Chicago’s Campaign. Responsibilities include conducting thorough, detailed research on Campaign prospects and maintaining and updating this information in various formats, ensuring it’s accuracy and availability. Also responsible for developing and maintaining clear, accurate reports detailing the progress of the Campaign. Assist the Director of Campaign Data & Research with the coordination of campaign activities including providing staff support to volunteer leadership and senior museum staff, and coordinating campaign-related materials, meetings, and events.
Bachelor’s Degree required. Candidates should have 2-3 years previous experience in a development office, preferably in a museum or college setting, with a general understanding of campaign organization and practice. Also considered will be candidates with comparable experience in a political campaign or a sales organization. Experience with Microsoft Office applications, and Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge preferred. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to manage and meet deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communications skills, as well as the ability to work cooperatively with the MCA donors and trustees, the public, and other staff. Ability to organize complex tasks, be responsive to tight schedules, and coordinate a variety of projects simultaneously. Ability to operate general office equipment and to have mobility throughout museum, offices and event spaces. Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. evenings and weekends as required.
